our suggestion for this ambitious program is a gathering of blocks of houses around sequences of public spaces, operating as a pedestrian precinct. all vehicles remain below the surface. around the public spaces, buildings of similar programs face each other. at the main entrance a small water guides the visitor from west to east, gets slowly deeper and deeper until it reaches a flat square of water at the place of spirituality in front of the cathedral. the bed of the reflecting pool is made of black glass symbolizing the depth of the universe.
